about

Sabbah Alnuwr by Sayed Abdelaziz (1905 - 1976) is the first piece that Nabra ever played together. The piece features the popular Tum Tum rhythm which originated in our lead singers Ali Elmubarak’s home town Omdurman. Sabah Alnuwr means “Good Morning” and the song is a gentle heartfelt hymn to the beloved. Sayed Abdelaziz is from the so called “golden age “ of Sudanese Arts.
