Donia by Ibrahim Moussa Aba (1945 - 1995) is a very poetic song mixing love poetry with reflections on the continuity of life.
Moussa Aba is from North Kordofan and in his personal style he combined the music of Central Sudan with the music of his native Kordofan. The piece also is in 6/8 but at more lyrical pace. Kordofan is a region with a very rich musical heritage and Moussa Aba’s legacy has remained a great influence on upcoming artists.
